*TRAILING THE SAME PATH*
I have been on this trail b'for,
Tattered and battered
Little and little it grew
Till it b'came a force, greater than I could bear
Head over hills I was
Infected by a feeling so deep
Stretching it's root all o'ver my soul
And so I drowned
In the drops that I made an ocean
All alone, sinking as the tears vanished in waters
Shattered
Battered
Brutalized
There, then, I died
Resurrected a new being
Sworn never to trail that part
But now, now, now
Having healed from the wound of time past,
Reborn a new man
Rising like morning sun,
Here I find myself,
In the place where it all began...
With a different one
And here my weak heart stands
Dazed my soul ,the reality that has come to be
And like the former, this dame dwells
Beauty like Troy's Elen
Smile so flawless
Nature so calm like the angels in the Holy book.
So my heart sinks at the presence of such being.
Captured in the same box
Treading a similar path
So my heart beats
Helpless of this that I feel
Hoping it disappears
Wishing it remains
And so the words I swallow
Every time I wish it be made know
Frightened to proceed,
Scared my procrastination doesn't make lose
Caught in between a fuss.
I pray I get a clue
As to whether these butterflies be mutual,
That this feminine heart of mine relives not the past.
